Encik Wan Ahmad Mohsin joined Pheim Asset Management Sdn Bhd as an investment analyst in 2018 where he is responsible for providing analysis, evaluation and investment actions on the companies that are under his coverage. On the portfolio management side, he assists fund managers in managing fund and this responsibility includes deploying strategic and tactical portfolio managements based on current view. The method is applied to all of clients’ portfolio, which are investing in Asia and Malaysia. In October 2020. He has become a license holder approved by the Securities Commission and subsequently appointed as the Fund Manager to manage some of the PUTB funds.
He started his career in the financial industry in 2015 and started off as a research analyst in Phillip Research Sdn Bhd. At that time, his responsibility was co-managing an Asean Shariah advisory fund, which tracks the Dow Jones Asean Islamic Index. Furthermore, he helped in recommending and monitoring of stocks for the international, as well as for the domestic market coverage during his time in Phillip Research Sdn Bhd. Besides that, he was also responsible in providing portfolio recommendations for clients’ unit trust portfolios, which is done by comparing and selecting the best funds to be put into portfolios.
Encik Wan Ahmad Mohsin holds a degree in Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Financial Mathematics from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and graduated in 2015.
