Mr. Lee Ta Wei (Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer)
Mr. Lee Ta Wei has more than 10 years of experience in the capital markets and fund management industry. Prior to current new appointment at Pheim Asset Management, he served as a portfolio manager at Manulife, managing unit trusts and insurance investment linked investment funds from 2021 to 2024. He specialized in analyzing companies and sectors ranging from technology, oil and gas, plantation and utilities. Prior to that, he worked at Pheim Asset Management as a investment analyst and fund manager between 2015-2021, where he was involved in equity research and managing funds, ranging from EPF account, unit trusts and private mandates. He also has extensive experience investing in regional markets, such as Hong Kong, China, North Asia, and ASEAN.
Mr Lee began his career as a design engineer at Sony Malaysia after graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Technology Malaysia in 2005. He passed the CFA exam in 2011 and subsequently joined BMI Appraisals Sdn Bhd, a Hong Kong-based business and property appraisal firm, from 2011 to 2015. As a senior analyst, he was responsible for marketing activities, securing business, conducting due diligence, financial analysis and financial modelling of target companies.
Mr Lee hold a Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Mechanical – Material) from University of Technology Malaysia in 2005. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2017.
Khafidzah Salimon (Head of Operation)
Ms. Khafidzah has over 20 years of working experience in the financial services, banking and capital market industry.
She oversee all operational matters related to clients’ investment portfolios, to lead the end-to-end management of portfolio operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all asset classes and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver timely and efficient portfolio management services, optimizing internal processes for scalability, and maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction and trust.
Ahmad Izzudeen Razali (Head of Compliance / Compliance Officer)
En. Ahmad Izzudeen has over 10 years of experience in the Capital Market. He started his career as a Dealer’s Representative for a local Investment Bank doing sales, marketing and trades’ execution before joining a multinational asset management firm in Central Dealing role.
Throughout his tenure with both companies, he gained extensive hands-on experiences which have equipped him with a very strong understanding of Capital Market fundamentals and technicalities. The prior experience and insight in the business side of the industry have proven to be a significant compliment to the proficiency in carrying out the function as Compliance personnel.
En. Izzudeen graduated with a bachelor degree in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and Masters in Islamic Finance Practice from INCEIF University. He is also an alumnus of SIDC’s Islamic Capital Market Graduate Training Scheme (now known as the Islamic Capital Market Talent Development (ICMTD) Programme).
